7:41 am - ...and of course, I get none
Well, yet another all-nighter for the Protector of the Multiverse. Off to class in a bit, then to bed... and sweet, sweet sleep...

9:48 pm - Fun -n- Games
Amazing how I can get SO pissed off at a video game. But then again, it's really a PERSON I'm pissed at.

My sig. other plays video games too, which is rare among the female set. That being said, Jen (my sig. other), myself, and two of our friends (call them Darien and Luthiel) are playing a rousing, slaughter-filled game of Diablo. Jen gets killed by Darien by accident.

*shrug*

No problem, right? He apologizes, and we go about our merry way. Then Luthiel comes along and snags her "ear," the electronic proof that one has indeed killed that character. We ask kindly for it back with no success. Then he proceeds to intentionally aggravate us with pathetic ear jokes and taunting us with fake offers of the ear. Finally, he makes copies of the ear and starts handing them out like condoms.

(wait on the comments until you read further)

I understand it's just a game and it's all supposed to be in good fun, but where I come from we have values like honor and loyalty, and something like that, no matter how trivial, is just NOT DONE.

*sigh* I dunno... I'm starting to cool down now... just needed to vent, I guess.

Back to saving the world? Nah. I need sleep. G'night, Multiverse.

7:35 pm - Irony
Electronics not working on the Computer Center... freaky!

That's how it is! I go to the Computer Center tonight to do my part in defending all you citizens of the Multiverse, and I swipe my card to gain access to the Pentium III dream machines in the Computer Science Lounge, and DENIED! No card authentication access to the entire BUILDING. And of course, at 7:40, no one's around to fix it... back to the old podunk soundless automatons down in the public labs... joy.

current mood: aggravated

Lack of sleep makes superheroes cranky... I should go to the post office and pick up my porn... Baldur's Gate II is an awesome game... need to rebuild my computer so that I can play there... AND protect the Multiverse while sitting on my ass in my comfy chair.

current mood: sleepy

Just took that test. Boy, that sucked. Probably passed, though I'm not sure. It's all about those wonderful teachers who expect you to have knowledge that the previous classes didn't teach you and that the teacher themselves refuses to teach. Yay Academia!

I am MIGHTY! I am Captain Computer, Protector of the Multiverse!

Hmm... not exactly as impressive sounding as I'd hoped... oh well.

Anyhow, just so you citizen out there in the ether know, I am Captain Computer, a 20 year old college student studying (of all things) Computer Science and religion. It's a hellish course of study, but at least I'll be making more money than the artsy music and English majors. (apologies to those of them I know)

There was an awesome party here last night: Wyclef Jean was here for part of his Campus Invasion tour with MTV (you know: Mediocrity TeleVision?). The concert was great, but I had to leave early to catch a phone call from my sig. other. They live it NJ, so catching the long distance phone calls is a priority. Spent the rest of the night playing video games and watching Bond films... fun fun.

As I mentioned before, got a test to study for. Ironic how the field of academia is notoriously bad at TEACHING things....

The life of a superhero is a painful and solitary existence, not unlike that of a rodeo clown. Woke up this morning and looked around the room and didn't want to clean or do laundry, though the Super Friends no doubt talk behind my back about how my clothes must reek... Got a big test tomorrow. Don't want to study nor wake up for it, but gotta. Gotta be mighty. Gotta be the superhero. I am Captain Computer, and I will be unstoppable, yada yada...

current mood: lethargic
